I designed and illustrated these signs for a local park In collaboration with with the city of west monroe and ouachita green. They had someone survey the area to provide me a list of some of the most common animals and plants for the habitats found in the park. Once i received these along with some descriptions i illustrated the flora and fauna and designed the sign. The goal was something that felt timeless and classic.
This design was initially created as a poster for the western show at courtyard gallerie. I loved it so much and had to repurpose it into a poster for year round use.
This Poster was A commission for a local business and was meant to inform people about the original native inhabitants of Ouachita parish. I did a ton of research to create a historically accurate Caddo tribe member. The repeated designs and motifs found throughout the illustration were based off of caddo imagery and native pottery/artifacts found near the ouachita river. This was such a fun piece, and it was so cool to learn more about the origins of my home parish.
This design is one of my favorites. The client sells eggs and wanted a dolly parton inspired chick logo. Dolly is one of my favorite country artists so i was happy to get to work. The hair took forever, but it wouldn't be a dolly logo with a big blonde wig!
This is a logo commissioned for a future film festival. We wanted to include the iconic railroad bridge while as well as classic film iconography. We settled on a classic film roll. I used a combination of a serif and quirky font to accentuate the vintage vibes evoked by the film roll and railroad bridge.
